🎓 I just finished a Web3 course — 100%, but what sticks isn’t the grade
Heard the word “blockchain” and felt overwhelmed? Don’t worry, this isn’t a lecture — just my story learning Web3.
✅ Why did I decide to learn Web3?
Many people ask me:
“Oanh, you’ve been in international trade for 18 years, why learn blockchain now?”
Honestly, I used to be fed up with words like blockchain, crypto, cryptopayment… They sounded scary — like alien language.
But after losing over 20 billion VND and struggling with depression and anxiety for 3 years, I kept asking myself:
“I have experience, connections, products — so why can’t I keep my cash flow steady?”
Then I realized:
The world has changed, but I was still trying to “plug a USB into a floppy disk.”
One day, an international buyer asked me:
“Do you accept USDT?”
I just smiled awkwardly and said:
“US… what?”
I knew then — I had to start learning from scratch.
💻 The course I took: Mastering Web3 at University of Nicosia
I enrolled in the Mastering Web3 course at University of Nicosia (Cyprus) — a global pioneer in blockchain and cryptopayment education.
The course is a 12-week Massive Open Online Course (MOOC), taught entirely in English.
The content is broad but fascinating, covering:
- History of blockchain and decentralization philosophy
- How cryptopayment works

- Web3 and the Metaverse
- Especially the application of Crypto to Export

📝 I scored 100% — but what I really learned
I studied every word, looked up every concept, took notes like a newbie learning a new language:
- “Blockchain is a public ledger”
- “Cryptopayment is a cross-border way to receive money without banks”
- “NFTs are unique digital IDs”
- “DAO is a boss-free business group”
And I realized:
Blockchain isn’t scary. It’s technology that helps people transfer value directly — no middleman needed.
More importantly, I saw a new opportunity:
How can Vietnamese SMEs legally and quickly receive money from international buyers via cryptopayment — as easy as using ZaloPay?
🔁 So, what do I do with this knowledge?
I don’t invest in coins, hype projects, or trade.
I use what I learned to:
- Explain blockchain and cryptopayment in simple, easy language
